Senior Project Manager

Arden White are working with a world leading provider of engineering solutions seeking Senior Project Managers to join the team due to expansion.

Based out of the Burton-on-Trent office, in this role you will be working alongside the leadership team providing project management and general management support across a range of engineering projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day business operations across selected identified major projects to ensure they run efficiently and to budget.
• Provide comprehensive cost control and reporting support across the identified projects
• Effective planning, control and monitoring, both internally and directly with customers
• Working from the quotation stage, through negotiation to contract completion.
• Provide support to the estimating team for key projects
• Report on contract performance
• Build effective and meaningful relationships with customers
• Act as line manager for allocated project engineers/managers

About you:

• Experience managing project teams
• Experience controlling and organizing labour resources and sub-contractors
• Experience of using Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and industry recognised project management tools
• Experience applying health and safety regulations
• Experience negotiating and agreeing contracts
• A strong knowledge of mechanical or electrical contracting
